Pro-Buhari Protest Rocks Kaduna Streets.


A group under the Coalition of Northern Activists for Peace (CNAP) has kicked against what they described as a negative proclamation against Northern Nigeria. They claimed that the North is not bleeding rather it's going through the healing process.

However, the group explained that despite the insecurity in the North, they could see frantic efforts of the security agencies in curtailing the activities of bandits, terrorists and cyber propagandas that have been terrorizing most northern parts of the country.

e staging a peaceful protest in Kaduna on Monday, the Kaduna State Convener of CNAP (Prince Zubairu Mukhtar) said that the rally was organized in appreciation of the substantial efforts of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration and the security agencies in addressing the challenges that have bedevilled Northern Nigeria.

Kukah Was Not Invited By DSS-Omotosho.

The Department of State Service (DSS) is yet to invite the Bishop of Sokoto Catholic Diocese (Mathew Kukah) over his recent criticism of President Muhamamadu Buhari, his spokesman (Revd Christopher Omotosho) disclosed the information.

Omotosho who stated this while giving an update on the reported invitation advised members of the public to ignore the reported invitation.

The suspended acting National Chairman of APC (Ntufam Hilliard Eta) has insisted that he is still acting chairman of the party.

He said that the purported suspension is not authentic. He made this statement during an interview held in his Calabar residence.

Police Arrest Another Man For Stealing In Yobe.

A man known as Usman Ali of Nay Nawa ward in Damaturu (Yobe State capital) has been arrested by the state police command over theft.

According to the police, Ali specializes in stealing mobile phones, jewellery and other valuables.

A statement from ASP Abdulkarim Dugus (the state command public relations officer) revealed that Ali was intercepted and arrested by detectives of the Crack Squad Unit after responding to a distress call from the ward head of Marfa-Kallam village in Damaturu, where over four houses were burgled and many valuables carted away overnight.
