AFCON 2021: Check Out The Countries That Have Qualified Into The Round 16 Of The Tournament

The ongoing TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations tournament is beginning to take shape as countries are securing their places into the Round 16 of the competition.



24 countries are currently competing in the competition but only sixteen teams will remain to fight for a place in the quarter final as we approach the round 16 of biannual competition.


There will be 12 countries that will automatically qualify from group A to F to the next round while 4 third best finishers will also emerge to complete the 16 teams. 


So far, Cameroon, Nigeria and Morocco are the only countries that have secured their spots into the round of 16 of the competition. 

More teams are expected to emerge today as we gradually approach the last group games.
